Cold War Kids reunite with Bishop Briggs to cover Rihanna's "Love on the Brain"

ABC/Randy HolmesCold War Kids have once again teamed up with Bishop Briggs to deliver a cover of the Rihanna hit "Love on the Brain," which you can listen to now via

For their version of the track, Cold War Kids use a relatively sparse arrangement while Briggs and frontman Nathan Willett pour their hearts out vocally.

"I felt like we needed to put a microscope on the vulnerable, aching side [of the song]," Willett tells EW of the cover. "Singing it with Bishop -- having that female-male dialogue back and forth is so powerful and classic."

Briggs also lends her vocals to the Cold War Kids song "So Tied Up," which appears on the band's new album LA Divine, and Willett says he wants to keep collaborating with the "River" singer.

"I would love to do a whole duet record of covers with Bishop someday," he says.
